Doda's NHM delegation visit bereaved families of Afaq Ahmed and Ajaz Ahmed Trak
Demands regularization, salary hike of NHM Employees
Doda, Dec 04: A five (05) members delegation of NHM Employees representing District Doda on 03-12-2022 visited the residence of deceased NHM Employees viz Afaq Ahmed (MMPHW) who died in a tragic & unfortunate road accident on 16-11-2022 at Renai Marwah and Ajaz Ahmed Trak (OT Technician) who died of brief illness in a hospital in Srinagar on 25-11-2022, to convey their condolences to the bereaved families.
Earlier the delegation, visited the house of Afaq Ahmed in Dachan and on way back to Kishtwar, the team also visited the house of deceased Ajaz Ahmed Trak to offer condolence.
On this occasion, the delegation expressed solidarity and sympathies with the bereaved families in this hour of grief & prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and grant of strength & fortitude to the bereaved families to bear this irreperable loss.
As a part of good will gesture & to show their solidarity, the team during their visit also handed over some financial assistance to both the families in cash and assured the families members of every possible support from NHM Employees of District Doda.
Pertinent to mention here that both the deceased were most dedicated and hardworking employees who played a significant role in health department & served the people of their area throughout their lives, for which they shall always be remembered.
Those who were the part of delegation included Dr Hamid Parray, Dr Nasir Masood Indrabi, Dr Sadeeq Wani, Faizan A Tramboo and Ashok Shan.
The delegation was also accompanied by District President NHM Union Kishtwar Altaf Hussain & Dr Touseef Kamal in Dachan and Dr Nazir Hussain in Kishtwar.
Meanwhile, the NHM Employees also urged the Honble Lt Governor J&K and concerned higher authorities to take some steps for their regularization/job policy and pay them wages at par with their counterparts, in order to secure their future and families.
