Night Cricket Tournament organised by CC& SC Doda Concludes in Sports Stadium Doda.*

Doda, July 04: Chenab Cultural and Sports Club (CC&SC) Doda organised 4th Edition of night Cosco T-10 cricket tournament at sports stadium Doda which was inaugurated on 5th of june.
In this tournament atleast 64 teams participated from different parts of jammu division. The tournament was concluded yesterday on 3rd of July and the final was played between Rehmat Cricket Club Doda and Green Shaheen Doda. After winning the toss Green Shaheen decided to bowl first. In first innings RCC scored 102 runs in 10 overs and their highest scorer was Sunny singh with 45 runs and from Green Shaheen, Amir wani was their leading wicket taker with 3 crucial wickets. Chasing the target Green Shaheen lost wickets at regular intervals and lost the match by the margin of 2 runs.
The tournament was organised to attract the youth towards sports and other such activities, said Umar Khora, one of the organisers, while briefing about the tournament.
DDC Doda, Vikas Sharma along with SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom and others enjoyed the final match. DDC Doda appreciated the organisers for such a fantastic arrangements and their efforts to bring an opportunity for the sports lovers to showcase their talent here in Doda. He asserted that sports activities are crucial for overall development of personality. He wanted the youth to channelize their energy towards positive direction and participate in any kind of sports activities to remain healthy fit and prosperous.
