AISF Doda Observed 91st Martyrs Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

DODA: All India Students' Federation (AISF) District Council Doda Observed 91st Martyrs Day of freedom fighters, Saheed Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar, who sacrificed their lives for country on  23 March, 1931.
The Federation also organised a Painting Competition and a Symposium for the students of different schools at Town Hall, Doda, wherein number of school students participated and those who outshined in the competition were also awarded with medals.

The programme started with the Floral Tributes to the bravehearts and Slogans like "Bhagat Singh Amar Rahe", "Bhagat Singh teray Aarmano ko Manzil tak poounchayangay". Raj Kumar and Varsha Dhar  presented  the welcome address. 

On the occasion, Professor Anita Kotwal GDC Doda was Special Guest. Other guests who graced the event are Dr. Hamid Parray, Jugnu Bhagat (Former AISF activist), Mohd Asgar Batt (Former AISF activist) and Mohd Sadeeq (Sarpanch Panchayat Babhore) 

District President AISF Doda,  Sulinder Parihar Sarazi put forth the work report of the  organisation in presence of senior leadership. Further new adhoc body of  District Doda was also announced. Sulinder Parihar Sarazi was relieved from all the responsibilities given to him.

Number of speakers spoke  about the life, struggles and also of ideology of Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar. 

The Special Guest in her  address highlighted the role of Bhagat Singh and his ideology during freedom struggle and contemporary India.

In Painting Competition Harvinder Singh was adjudged  as first Dheeraj Gouria and Sabha clinched 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.  

Meanwhile in seminar Meenakshi Gouria got first position, Sonia Sharma and Ansh Rajput secured 2nd and 3rd position.

Others who participated both the events were also felicitated with Medals as token of appreciation from the Federation.

The programme concluded with the formal vote of thanks by Dimple Parihar Incharge President Boys Higher Secondary School Doda.
