Heavy snowfall badly affects Road Connectivity, Power Supply, water supply in far flung areas of doda district, Zuffarullah Rather

DODA,Jan 10: Jammu Kashmir National conference District President Doda Zuffar Ulla Rather has appealed to the UT Govt to provide better facilities in snow bound areas of Doda districts ,where many areas have cut off due to continue heavy snowfall.
The administration has failed in its prompt response for the redressal of issues which have increased due to heavy snowfall and disconnection of electricity supply, road connectivity,Water supply, Medicine,In many far flung areas including Behota,Marmat,Gundna ,Bharat Bagla,Kotie Thron, Manoo,Hadal,Kota,Gundana,Mohalla of the doda district said.
As a result of heavy snowfall the power and drinking water supply has been badly hit while road connectivity in most parts of the district remains disrupted Rather said adding that problems of the people have increased.
The heavy snowfall paralyzed normal life in doda district with the majority of the areas road connectivity including Marmat,Manoo,Dessa, Gundana,Malwana, Mohalla,Kotie Throon, remaining cut off from the district headquarters Doda.
The NC leader further said that erratic power supply , has plunged the remote villages of Doda district into darkness and the authorities concerned should redress all these issues immediately.
