Doda::A group of youths from Doda, a district in Jammu and Kashmir, took it upon themselves to distribute stationery among underprivileged students in far-flung areas.
According to reports, the group of young volunteers collected funds from their own pockets and locals and bought stationery items like pens, pencils, notebooks, and other essential supplies. They then traveled to remote areas where the access to such supplies is limited and distributed them among the needy students.
The initiative was received with overwhelming appreciation from the local community, who lauded the efforts of these young volunteers in helping to bridge the educational divide that exists in the region.
Speaking to the media, one of the volunteers, who wished to remain anonymous, said that they wanted to contribute towards a noble cause that could make a positive impact on the lives of young children. They added that they were motivated by the desire to see every child have access to the basic necessities required to pursue their education.
This initiative by the youths of Doda is a shining example of how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate. It is heartening to see young people take the lead in such endeavors and bring hope to those who need it the most.
