Gurushala Conducted Two- Day Training For The Teachers of District Doda.

DODA: Gurushala, a teacher capacity building website, is an initiative of Indus Towers Ltd. and Vodafone Idea Foundation and is implemented by Pratham Education Foundation. Gurushala for the teachers of the Doda Jammu & Kashmir, Doda concluded a two-day extensive online training session on Digital Literacy of National Education Policy, 2020 where more than 2000 teachers participated.
To address the need for teacher training in pedagogy as well as the use of modern tools and aids to make teaching more effective and engaging, Gurushala conducted the session intending to cater and engage with teachers to assist them on curating curriculum and pedagogy in schools, creating assessments and developing a technological friendly classroom environment for students.
The training focused on providing teachers with the strategies to develop various online teaching strategies, a diverse range of course modules & content library on Gurushala, knowledge on content curation, planning and presenting digital content, using online pedagogical tools in virtual classrooms to make online teaching easy and innovative like word wall. As a Trainer Mr. Girdhar Thakur and Shaily Pal was well moderated.
The session was designed to engage teachers and provide them with strategies to enhance their pedagogical practices which they can adopt in their classroom especially now that schools are resumed. Curated in the context to also give an understanding of hybrid models in the classroom and how it would be more helpful for the students
