Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Flaggs off Eat Right School & Eat Right Creativity rally"*

Doda::Today the rally about Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity was organized by the Department of Food Safety DFCO Kishtwar in collaboration with District Administration Kishtwar and Education Department Kishtwar which was flagged off by Dr.Devansh Yadav Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar with zest ,zeal and fervor,
in this rally students and staff of 02 Clusters having 08 Schools with more than 100 participants were part of this expedition and Eat Right Rally ,this rally started from DC Office Complex Kishtwar enrouted via market and culminated at Chowgan Kishtwar.
Dr.Devanish Yadav Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar encouraged the Department and participants for exploration of such an outreach in cold and chilled wheather ,this rally of Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity is a General awareness to Eat Right,Eat Healthy and Eat Fortified. During the processions of the rally the students aromatised the markets and souurondings with the slogans of *Awo kum karain thora Tail chini aur Namak".Eat Right Healthy, Eat Fortified*
For making rally successful Department including Education led by Sh.Sudershan Kumar CEO Kishtwar, sh.Gh.Ahmad Mugal Nodal Officer Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity Kishtwar staff and students of the 08 Schools remained part and parcel & indeed tremendous and approach oriented .
Sh.Taraq Ahmad Butt Assistant Commissioner Food Safety DFCO Kishtwar led along with Staff and Nodal Officer ERS Kishtwar led the Rally along with Sh.Sajad Hussain, Food Safety Officer under the Aegis of FSSAI and directions of Commissionerate FDA j&k for making max.coverage of the Schools under Eat Right India especially adding up the Books like yellow books 1,2,pink Book,Activity Book from Nidhi App which were distributed amongst the Heads of the Schools of these Clusters as a start up ,meanwhile other other initiatives were also implementation including MDM Registrations under FSSA, Magic Box Demonstartions, Debate and painting competition were also held ,during the programs of Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity these Clusters have already been imparted with such innovative Movements of Govt.of India including Food Fortification, Hygienic practices ,sanitation ,Cleanliness and conceptulization about Healthy diet ,Good diet and Healthy eating Habits with iron supplements and Deworming services, these Clusters are at the stage of monitoring, evaluation and Certifcation. As on date these Schools are registered on the portal and HWC certificates have been issued properly.
The Department also displayed motivational messages on pole kiosks at different locations Added with digital media outreaches, Hoardings,Banner,posters under the Compaign of Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity at Kishtwar.
The vision of Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity is to prosperity the Nation at its School level to keep the children updated ,Healthy ,fit and sound
In his address Chief Guest Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar highlighted the objectives of such event and rally and said such programs are envisioned as massive outreach to the citizens to create & build awareness on Safe & healthy diets through an interactive and informative model. He complimented the efforts of the Department of Food safety, Doda & tireless efforts of the Organisers & stressed the need for holding such workshops & such camps at Tehsil levels to generate more &.more awareness about the" Eat Right, Eat Healthy & Eat Fortified".
He further impressed upon the department to double the efforts in ensuring safe & wholesome food to the Consumers.
Sh.Taraq Ahmad Butt Assistant Commissioner Food Safety DFCO Kishtwar in his welcome address urged upon the participants to adopt healthy food habits and avoid junk food habits as much as possible to be away from food borne diseases. During this rally a pledge was taken regarding Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
Assistant Commissioner, Food safety Kishtwar in his address highlighted the achievements of the Department and enjoined upon the Food Business operators especially manufacturers, Hoteliers, Restaurant owners to adopt Hygiene practice & undergo Hygiene ratings & undergo FoSTaC training so that clean & safe food is made available to the consumers.
Other speakers also highlighted the impact of adultertion in Food the accending graph Anaemia and increasing graph of non- communicable disease can be brought down if healthy life style which include exercises, Healthy eating habits are adopted in letter and spirits.
A large number of the participants including Food business operators, Departments, Students & citizen participanted in this program with zest & zeal and made the rally Successful.
