Rutba Assisted by Indian Army for 3rd Mount Everest Int'l Open Taekwondo Championships 2022.

Doda::Rutba Majid, a Taekwondo player hailing from Doda District, UT of Jammu and Kashmir will be representing India at 3rd Mount Everest International Open Taekwondo Championship (G2). Sanctioned by World Taekwondo (WT), Promoted by Asian Taekwondo Union (ATU), and Organised by Nepal Taekwondo Association to be held in Multi Purpose Covered Hall, Pokhara Stadium, Pokhara, Nepal, from 21st - 25th September, 2022.
Rutba Majid is going to represent India in Junior Female, Under 46kg Catagory. She will be the first Junior athelete from Chenab Valley who will represent India at world Taekwondo sanction event and all this is possible because of Indian Army. Indian Army fulfilled Rutba's dream of representing India and also borne the cost of the event and travel expenses.
Rutba a trainee of Shield Taekwondo Academy Doda is selected on her recent based performance at J&K - UT and National level Taekwondo Championships. Recently she won bronze Medal in 13th Open National Taekwondo Championships at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Organised by Madhya Pradesh Taekwondo Association under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India and Gold Medal in 24th J&K UT Taekwondo Championships 2022 at JKSC Indoor Sports Complex, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, Organised by J&K Taekwondo Association (Regd).
While speaking to Rutba's Coach Mr. Burhan Ud Din Khan (NIS Taekwondo Coach).He said Ruba train hard and one day her training and hard work paid off & she will became an inspiration for the rest of Doda girls. And thanked the Indian Army who assisted rutba for above said event specially Commanding Officer 10RR & Major Naveed who is always ready to help the athletes of Doda. President District Doda Taekwondo Association Mr. Junaid Ali Khan Congratulated Rutba Majid & Coach, wished them good luck and assured full support for the event.
