GDC KILHOTRAN ORGANISED ‘HAR GHAR TIRANGA’ CAMPAIGN

Doda::As a run-up to 75th Independence Day of the country, GDC Kilhotran under the aegis of Dr. Javid Iqbal Zarger, Principal organized a series of events to enhance the Patriotic feelings and awareness of National Flag among the students of GDC Kilhotran.
As part of Campaign, GDC Kilhotran under guidance of PTI Vinay Manhas distributed National Flag among students and faculty members of the college. Principal Dr. Javid Iqbal Zarger explained the students how to maintain sanctity of National Flag. Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence. The Rally was also taken out to sensitise the students about the significance of Tiranga and spread the message of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign across villages and communities. The prominent faculty members who participated in the Rally and awareness programme include Dr. Barket Ali (HoD Urdu), Prof. Yasar Arfat (HoD Arabics), Prof. Majid Gani (HoD Economics), Dr. Wahied Khawar Balwan and others. This event was one of the many events planned till 15th August as run up to the Independence Day which is being celebrated as “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.
