ADVISORY ON SALE / RESALE OF DIGITAL PATTERN ARMY COMBAT UNIFORM

Doda::In an effort to stem out unauthorized proliferation of new pattern combat dress of the Indian Army, a team of army personnel from 10 Rashtriya Rifles carried out an awareness campaign in Doda Town area sensitizing the people on unauthorized sale / resale of new digital pattern combat dress used by Indian Army.
The new pattern was unveiled in January this year and the newly introduced combat uniform will be available only through Central Procurement and Canteen Stores Department (CSD).
All army personnel will buy the digital pattern material from the CSD and get it stitched according to their measurements.
It was observed in the past that material for combat dress was readily available in the market which posed a serious threat to the security of military establishments as well as civilian areas.
The army team was seen distributing pamphlets to army general stores and tailor shops to make them aware of the ban.
The pamphlets clearly mentioned ban on selling of such fabrics by unauthorized venders followed by strict legal actions such vendors if found selling new pattern digital combat dress in the local market.
