Intra College Talent hunt -2022 at GDC Doda

Doda::Cultural cell, GDC Doda organised Intra College Talent hunt - 2022 in which many students participated to show their talent in different cultural activities. The enthusiastic and zealous performers showcased and exhibited their talent
in singing, dancing, mon-acting , solo dance , folk dance , skit performance and rangoli. In the group songs and group dance , students unravel their hidden passion in Punjabi, Hindi , Dogri, urdu , Bhaderwahi and kashmiri songs. The whole environment got mesmerized by the Bhaderwahi folk song sung by group of students and Urdu gazal sung by Prof. Satish Kumar in his soulful voice to encourage students to display their talent.
Besides group proformance , individual talent in mono-acting , solo dance and rangoli was also displayed by some students to steal the show.
A group of students presented a skit on the theme 'causes and consequences of drugs addiction among youths ' to aware and educate the audiance about the harmful consequences of drugs addiction. The audiance were enthralled by this proformance. Colourful Rangoli also became the main attraction of the event.
The aim of organizing the Talent hunt - 2022 was to find out the hidden talent of the students and inculcate discipline in them for upcoming Sangam cultural festival and other University level cultural events.
Principal Dr. Attar Singh kotwal congratulated Dr. Anita kotwal (convenor cultural cell ), Dr. Arjun Singh HOD Dept. Of PE & Sports and other members of cultural cell and all the participants to hone their skills . He also encouraged the non participants to take part in such activities in future which would bring out the hidden potential among them to strike a balance between curricular and co-curricular activities in their life.
Prof . Babu Ram and Prof K K Manhas also spoke on the occasion and threw light on the importance of these co-curricular activities in the overall personality development of individual.
The event ended with prize distribution ceremony, in which eleven students recieved cash prize of the performance, they performed in the cultural event on 04-06-2022 organised by 33 battalion CRPF at community hall Doda. The other faculty members who graced the occasion with their presence were Dr. Ajaz Ahmed wani, Dr Akhter Hussain, Dr Aslam Rather, Dr. Sumit kotwal , Prof Syed Kazim , Prof Amit Kumar , Prof Rakesh Kumar , Dr. Ravinder Singh, Prof Manjeet, Prof ni Purnima Manhas, Prof Preeti Devi and Prof. Akrity Parihar . The event concluded with formal vote of thanks by Dr Jagmohan.
