Doda::The three hours (Kam Chord Hartal) Pen down Strike was observed by the Medical Employees of Doda at District Hospital, Sub District Hospital, PHC, NTPHC and Sub center Levels in all the blocks and Peripheral institutions of Block Ghat, Thathri, Gandoh, Bhaderwah and Assar. The Routine work/OPD work was stopped for three hours but the emergency services were not affected.
The strike was observed at District hospital Doda/GMC Doda under the chairmanship of Hushiar Singh Rukwal President JKGMEF Doda. It was observed to stress up on the UT Govt. for the immediate redressal of the long pending and genuine demands of Medical Employees which are as under:-
Immediate DPC of all categories of Medical employees.
Permanent solution of salaries issues of FMPHW’s under Pay head 2211.
Immediate Registration of all the left out Pharmacist with JK Pharmacy council.
Conversions of NPS (New Pension Scheme) into OPS (old pension scheme) in favour all JKG employees.
Prominent among others who attended the strike were Sh.Tahir Mushtaq Gen. Secretary, Sanjeev Bhan, Haleema Tahir, Shakuntla Devi, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Shesh Ram Shan, Mohd Ikhlaq, Sajid, Ajaz Kelam, Dev Raj, Shoqat Ali, Smt. Suriya Wani, Smt. Kamla Devi, Kifayatullah, Assem kotwal, Mohd Iqbal, Ajaz Ahmed Natnoo, Amjad Ali Sr.Asstt.and others.
