During his visit the DDC councilor was informed by the locals that they are suffering badly due to frequent unscheduled cuts in electric supply especially during the hours of 'Iftar' and 'Sehri' .
Taking serious note of the lackadaisical attitude of the concerned authorities Mr Hashmi asked the district administration to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the commuters during the holy month of Ramadan and reschedule the routine curtailment keeping in view the timings of sehri, iftar and prayers . He alleged that the district administration seems least bothered about the welfare of general public and despite being repeatedly asked to redress the people's grievances at earliest, nothing has been done till now.
