10 RR Organized Medical Camp at Mallan Dessa in Doda District

10 RR "A" Coy Gai Dessa in collaboration with Arjun Youth Club Gai Dessa (Regd.NGO) organized free Medical Camp at Panchayat Ghar Mallan Dessa.Mr. Surjeet Singh Sarpanch Mallan Dessa was the chief guest while Coy' Comd.10RR Gai and Mr C P Thakur President Arjun Youth Club Dessa was the guest of honour.
People of Different villages including Kunda, Mallan, Grammari, Sarila, Motla, Saras and Zartund took benefits by getting free Medical checkup and enjoying the spirit of unity. The programme began at 10:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm.
The chief guest addressed the public and urged them to co-operate with Indian army and NGO who have organised such camp in a very hilly and remote Snowbound area (3-4 fee). Local villagers feel proud to be Indian.
Medical camp was organised with the aim to provide quality medical care and free medicines to the poor and needy people of the area.
A team of One specialist doctor including Para medical staff of Army and civil rendered their services to more than 350 patients who had come from different villages of Mallan area.
Free medicine was also distributed among the patients.
People of the area have hailed the efforts of Army and hoped of organising such camps in future also.
