*DC Doda launches vaccination drive for the age group of 15 -17 years in the district*

_Around 27000 beneficiaries are targeted for vaccination under the 15-17 age group in the upcoming days for 100% coverage_(DC Doda)

Doda, January 03:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Vikas Sharma formally launched the vaccination drive for the beneficiaries in the age group of 15-17 years across the district from Govt Girls Hr Sec School Doda here today.

During the visit to the above mentioned vaccination site the beneficiary from the respective institution recieved the first jab of the Covid-19 vaccine in presence of the DC Doda.

Speaking on the occasion the DC informed that around 27000 beneficiaries across the district in the 15-17 year of age group are being targeted for 100% , besides said that today at around 61 vaccination sites have been established in different schools keeping in view of  convenience of the beneficiary.

He also said that apart from the nearby vaccination site, the beneficiary can also visit to any other site keeping of their convenience alongwith the adhaar card for timely  registration and inoculation.

While addressing to the students the DC enquired from them about the vaccination status of their other family members and parents, besides asked them to encourage their other counterparts to get themselves vaccinated on priority basis during these days.

He also informed that in the age group of above 18 year the district has achieved the target of more than 98% and in the upcoming days the district will achieve 100% target positively.

In addition to this the DC directed the CMO to mobilise additional staff to the vaccination sites wherever it is necessary, so that hassle free vaccination shall be conducted by following the due protocol

Among others accompanied the DC are CMO Doda, DEPO Doda, Principal Govt Girls Hr Sec School Doda, besides other staff members of health and education department were also present.
