CEO Livestock Development Board Jammu reviews progress on Central Sponsored and UT Shemes at Doda.

 Dali Udyanpur identified as Milk Village, 165 beneficiaries to get  Dairy farms

Doda, December 20: Dr. Matloob Ahmed Tak, Chief Executive Officer, Livestock Development Board Jammu took a detailed review of the progress made under Centrally Sponsored Schemes and various Union Territory Schemes in District Doda. 


The meeting was attended by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Doda Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sen, Poultry Development Officer Doda Dr. Akhter Hussain, Superintendant District Veterinary Hospital Doda Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Kelam who is also the Nodal Officer for NADCP (National Animal Disease Control Programme) and IDDS induction (Integrated Dairy Development Schemes) and Veterinary Assistant Surgeon/Nodal Officer Milk Village Dalli Udyanpur Dr. Shahid Latief, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon  Incharge  NAIP (National Artificial Insemination Programme) Dr. Mudassir  Nazar and other officers and officials.

During the meeting a detailed review was taken for implementation of IDDS (Integrated Dairy Development Scheme). The chair was told that One Milk Village Dali Udyanpur has been identified and 165 beneficiaries have applied for the establishment of Dairy farms. The applications included 3 beneficiaries of 10 units (50 cows) and 2 beneficiaries of 5 units (25 cows). The list of beneficiaries stands submitted to the Chief Executive Officer, Livestock Development Board Jammu.
On NADCP(National Animal Disease Control Programme the CEO was told that 83.6% animals have been vaccinated and same uploaded on INAPH. The chair directed not to leave any animal untagged as well as unvaccinated.

On NAIP (National Artificial Insemination Programme) Regular uploading of Data and the backlog shall be completed before 31 December 2021.

Requisition for cryocans and for Community Bulls was also discussed. With regard to
Livestock Insurance,  The chair was pleased to see more than 100% Livestock Insured of the Target given. He stressed that left over insurance shall be uploaded in consultation with the insurance company.
